Opened in 1986 in the former Tabernacle Welsh Baptist Chapel, Pontypridd Museum tells the story of an area transformed, from a quiet Valleys community to a thriving industrial town at the heart of the South Wales coalfield. Around this industry sprung a vibrant culture of music, art, sport and political activity which still shapes the town today.
Pontypridd Museum is delighted to host...
Packing up for another trip out on the road, Flossy and Boo find a mysterious old suitcase at the back of their cart, and so begins mischief, magic and mayhem. Join us for fantastical stories, ridiculous exploits and a whole host of weird and wonderful characters, all played by the rambunctious duo. Bursting with whimsy and charm, this enchanting production blends the magic of storytelling with live music, leaving you grinning from ear to ear.
This really is a celebration of the joy found in shared experiences and the magic of storytelling. The forgotten suitcase awaits…
Come one, come all, and let the enchantment begin!

This exhibition was brought together by Nicole Garnon of Gallery 57, Newport, after she discovered the This Ends Now organisation. A not-for-profit organisation campaigning to end male violence against women and to challenge the language used when describing sexual violence.
The exhibition features artists from Wales and the rest of the UK and their personal responses to the subject matter.
