Opened in 1986 in the former Tabernacle Welsh Baptist Chapel, Pontypridd Museum tells the story of an area transformed, from a quiet Valleys community to a thriving industrial town at the heart of the South Wales coalfield. Around this industry sprung a vibrant culture of music, art, sport and political activity which still shapes the town today.

Geraint Ross Evans
Yn y labrinth hwn sy’n cwrdd â darlunio tirluniau gan yr artist Cymreig Geraint Ross Evans, awn ar daith gydag afon wrth iddi fod yn dyst i berthynas newidiol dynolryw â natur dros amser.
In this labyrinth meets landscape drawing, by Welsh artist Geraint Ross Evans, we journey with a river as it bears witness to humankind’s changing relationship with nature across time.
Ymwelwch â'r Amgueddfa nawr i weld y llun gwreiddiol yn ei holl ddyfnder a manylder am y tro cyntaf erioed.
Visit the Museum now to view the original drawing in all its depth and detail, for the very first time.
